Enjoy great family fun at Colonial Downs Saturday August 24th as wiener dog races will share center stage with thoroughbred horse races on the main track throughout the afternoon.
This is the first time ever that dachshunds will grace the track in New Kent so it should be lots of fun with many picture taking opportunities. Response from wiener dog owners has been great. Fields of ten will burst out of a specially made starting gate and thunder down the track a short distance in front of the grandstand.
Admission is free and first horse race is at 1:30 PM.
