The Fall Races are a tradition for friends and families, and will take place on Sunday, October 6. “Community, conservation and steeplechase are vital to Foxfield,” said Kelsey Cox, Executive Director of Foxfield Races. “The Fall Races are a great space to welcome our growing community to enjoy the unique and spectacular steeplechase experience. We look forward to welcoming your friends, family, and colleagues on October 6.”

Foxfield, which most recently hosted the Spring Races event on April 27, hosts nationally recognized steeplechase races in the heart of Virginia, giving residents and visitors alike the opportunity to witness spectacular horse racing and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Today, the bi-annual races host upwards of 17,000 attendees and feature a strong field of horses and riders, free fun for friends and family of all ages, vendor village, local food trucks and more. The spring races will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
