Opening day of the 2024 Shenandoah Downs Spring meet is set for April 6th, 2024 in the quaint town of Woodstock, Virginia.
The 7-week meet will continue every Saturday and Sunday through May 19th with a post time of 1:05 PM. The campaign will be highlighted with simulcast wagering on both the Kentucky Derby (May 4) and the Preakness Stakes (May 18).
A 7-week fall season is also planned from September 14 – October 27 pending Virginia Racing Commission approval. A 4-day non-wagering meet during the Shenandoah County Fair will take place from August 28-31.
